SONY ERICSSON has unveiled the world's first motion activated headphones that apparently know when you are listening.
The MH907 earphones from Sony Ericsson can automatically pause music from a connected device when a single earpiece is removed, then resume the playback when the earpiece is reinserted, without any user interaction with the handset.
The process of taking a single earpiece out is also used to answer a call, where music playing can be resumed when the earpiece is reinserted once the call has ended. Reinserting the earpiece can even end the call itself.
This technology is called SensMe and responds without a single press of a button on the handset, placing the control of this function in the trust of the earphones.
